Identify the event that starts the period
AKIBA PASS TV’s official moderator FAQ describes a 90-day rental beginning with the transaction, not with the addition of the last video in an ongoing series. That distinction matters when a product receives episodes after you obtain it. Read the actual product’s current conditions before relying on the general rule.
Do not build the plan around an imagined first-play trigger. A period beginning when you transact and a period beginning when the season finishes are different calendars, even if both are described casually as “season access”.
Work backwards from your viewing habit
Suppose you intend to begin a series only after a long work assignment. First compare that intended start with the offer’s displayed expiry. If most of the rental period would pass before your first free evening, consider whether that offer suits the plan at all. This is an illustrative choice, not a prediction of future availability.
For week-by-week viewing, record the transaction date, current expiry and episodes already completed. Do not move the expiry in your own notes whenever another episode appears. A new catalogue item is not evidence that the original access period restarted.
Keep the actual offer in charge
A bundle or season label should be checked for the titles and instalments it contains. Preserve the product name with the receipt so a later question concerns the item you actually obtained. Do not infer future release dates or rights from the number of episodes you expect a series to have.
If the displayed expiry conflicts with your understanding, ask the official provider before the viewing period becomes urgent. Include the product and transaction reference. A rough calendar calculation is a planning aid, not a substitute for that account-specific record.
