A promotional label is a starting signal
The reviewed German aniverse page contains a Simulcast row and new-season or new-episode labels. Use those labels to investigate an update, then open the particular series record. A new banner does not identify the last episode you personally completed.
Make a short note for the season you are following: exact title, season label and the last complete episode. Include a special or separate story entry only when the actual listing and your viewing plan call for it. Do not infer a narrative order from the position of catalogue artwork.
Keep three states separate
Record which episodes the current offer presents, which you have completed and which one you intend to watch next. A practical note might read “listed through the current item; finished this episode; next session begins here”. Use the service’s actual labels rather than inventing an unpublished total.
This is especially useful when you return after a break. First compare the listing with your own completion note, then choose the next item. A newly added episode is not necessarily the correct next episode for someone several instalments behind.
Update the map after the session
After watching, advance only the completed state. If you stop partway through, retain that position separately so a partial session does not become a memory that the whole episode is finished. Keep spoiler-sensitive summaries closed until you need them.
For future releases, use the current official listing or announcement. The presence of a Simulcast collection does not establish a universal weekday, release hour or guaranteed complete season. This map organises what is offered and watched; it does not predict rights or schedules.
Questions answered
Does a new-episode banner tell me where to resume?
No. Compare the listing with your own last completed episode.
Can the map assume future release dates?
Use verified current information; do not invent a schedule from the collection label.
