Start with the order identity
BookMyShow’s help places purchases, active rentals and downloaded films in Stream Library. Open that area while using the account that completed the transaction. Compare the film title with the receipt rather than searching only the public catalogue.
A public film page can show a fresh rental offer even when the task is to locate an existing order. The library and receipt give you the relevant context: what was ordered, which account holds it and whether a rental remains active.
Inspect the phone copy separately
The provider documents downloading eligible rented or bought films on a phone from the film details or Stream Library. A film listed in the library is not, by itself, evidence that the phone has finished saving its video. Inspect the download state of the exact item.
Check the episode or film edition if several entries have similar names. Keep the same item in view while comparing the transaction and local status. This is a practical way to avoid diagnosing the wrong film after following a recommendation or search result.
Read expiry before relying on the copy
A rental has its own time conditions. BookMyShow says those conditions can vary by film. Do not assume that downloading removes the expiry attached to the rental or converts it into a purchase.
Before leaving a reliable connection, inspect the film’s current details and the app’s downloaded-content view. Choose a viewing time that fits the displayed entitlement. Describe the missing stage
If help is needed, say whether the order is absent from Stream Library, present but expired, or present with an incomplete or failing download. Include the title, account route, phone model and message. Keep full payment details private.
