Choose a delivery plan, not just a file
VRT describes EDUbox as a package combining text, video, tasks and interactive tools for secondary education. Its downloadable PDF is one format of that package. The official explanation says pupils use QR codes in the paper or digital slides to reach videos and activities. Printing the PDF therefore does not establish that every part of the lesson is available offline.
Preview the chosen package and mark the points where the activity leaves the page. Decide whether the class will use a shared screen, individual devices or small groups. The useful question is who needs to open which resource at each point, rather than simply whether a PDF has downloaded.
Match the format to how the class will work
VRT’s interactive site integrates the videos and tools into the online sequence. The interactive video lesson uses a VRT expert to guide the material. Flex lets teachers select slides, tools and videos for a class-specific sequence. These options change how the session is led and how learners move between explanation and activity.
If choosing printed slides, open each required linked resource on the intended equipment beforehand. Keep the reference beside the relevant task so a working link is not lost among unrelated tabs. If choosing the guided video lesson, identify where discussion or pupil work should occur; a running video does not itself organise the classroom response.
Do not infer that a format exists for a particular package merely because the general description lists it. Inspect the selected topic’s current page and use the formats actually offered there.
Record a useful fallback
Write down the learning question and which resource supplies the evidence for it. If a linked tool cannot be used, decide whether the question can be addressed with the available material. A discussion based on a different resource should be described as an adapted session, not as completion of an interaction the class did not undertake.
The preparation can stay small: package title, chosen format, linked-media checkpoints and intended stopping point. That record makes the session repeatable while preserving the distinction between a printed worksheet and the fuller audiovisual activity it accompanies.
Questions answered
Does downloading an EDUbox PDF download its videos too?
VRT describes QR codes leading from the PDF to videos and tasks. Do not assume those media are included in the PDF.
What is EDUbox Flex for?
VRT describes it as a route for teachers to select slides, tools and videos for their own class sequence.
