KableOne Basic: two signed-in devices, one watching screen

Read the detailed plan rule before assuming a second registered device can play at the same time.

Use the detailed plan answer

KableOne’s FAQ says its Basic monthly and yearly plans allow two devices to be logged in but one device to watch at a time. Its detailed Premium answers describe a different allowance. A broad statement elsewhere that the service works on up to four devices should not replace the rule for the plan you actually hold.

Open the current subscription details and identify the plan. Do not infer Premium access because the app is installed on several screens. Installation, sign-in and simultaneous viewing are three different observations.

Decide whether the screens alternate or overlap

If you move a film from phone to television, end the old viewing session through its normal controls before starting the next. That is an alternating-screen plan. If two people want different programmes at once, compare the current plan’s concurrent-viewing terms before relying on it.

Write down the viewing times rather than counting every device in the home. Two registered devices may meet a household’s needs when only one is used at a time. This is a planning example, not a claim about account sharing permissions beyond the service’s own terms.

Read the message before removing anything

When playback fails, note whether the app refers to a device registration limit, another active screen or a different entitlement problem. Removing a registered device is not automatically the right response to a concurrent-session message.

Check which screen is still playing, stop the session you no longer need, and retry the same programme once. Keeping the title constant makes the result easier to interpret. If the message persists with no known competing playback, record the time and device for support.

Keep the plan comparison current

This article follows the detailed FAQ checked on 4 November 2026. Read the current offer before changing plans; it does not promise a permanent numerical allowance or price. Ask about the specific Basic or Premium arrangement rather than quoting an undifferentiated multiple-devices slogan.

Questions answered

Can two logged-in Basic devices necessarily play together?

No. The detailed FAQ says Basic permits one watching screen while allowing two logged-in devices.

Which rule should I compare before changing plans?

The current detailed allowance for the exact plan, including simultaneous viewing and registered devices separately.
