Read what the code is for
Kino on Demand’s gift FAQ describes codes for an eligible online film rental. Its general help separately describes rewards used toward a cinema visit. Both may arrive by email, but they are not the same transaction or redemption route.
Read the message surrounding the code before entering it anywhere. Note the product, eligibility conditions and expiry. Keep the code private until you intentionally give it to the recipient; a screenshot of the email can expose the usable value.
A film gift leaves the title choice open
The gift FAQ says you cannot gift one fixed film through this product. The recipient chooses an eligible film, subject to the current voucher conditions. If you recommend a title, present it as a suggestion rather than a guarantee the code is attached to that film.
A useful gift note can explain why you thought of the recipient and offer two possible starting points. Verify those films in the current catalogue if you name them. Do not promise that either title will remain available until the recipient decides to watch.
Redeem the online code at the film checkout
The provider documents selecting an eligible film, choosing voucher as the payment method and entering the code during checkout. Read the current value and redemption limits before confirming. A voucher for online access does not reserve a seat at the selected cinema.
If the code is rejected, compare the exact offer and the chosen film rather than trying unrelated account controls. Record whether the message concerns validity, eligibility or an already-used code. Those are distinct questions for support.
Keep a cinema reward for the venue task
A cinema reward has its own participating-venue and screening conditions. Check them against the visit you intend to make. Keep any cinema booking confirmation separate from both the stream receipt and the reward email. This article explains the distinction; it does not promise a universal discount or a refund if a venue declines a code.
Questions answered
Does the online gift product let me lock the recipient to one film?
The gift FAQ says the recipient chooses an eligible film; it does not gift one fixed title.
Can I use a stream code as proof of a cinema reservation?
No. Online rental access, a cinema reward and a seat booking are separate items.
