The feature retains a standby state
LG describes Quick Start+ as keeping the television in standby for faster next startup. It is not the same condition as disconnecting mains power. A quick screen wake therefore does not prove that an app completed a fresh launch.
Identify whether the complaint is a slow TV wake, an app taking time to load or a network reconnection. Those stages can occur in the same session but need different observations.
Use the installed webOS route
LG’s current guide uses System, Additional Settings for webOS 26 examples and General, System, Additional Settings for webOS 23 examples. Consult the actual model if the menu differs.
Compare wake behavior with the setting documented and keep the same normal remote action. Do not combine it with an app reset or multiple picture changes.
Check the whole return to viewing
After the screen wakes, confirm that the intended app can open and play a known item. A fast panel response is only the first milestone. Record any remaining delay at the app stage separately.
This page explains LG’s documented state distinction. It does not claim measured startup time or standby consumption for a particular television.
