Describe the blocked assistance
A person may rely on a password manager or copy-and-paste to sign into an existing account. If a player's verified sign-in form blocks that assistance, the task can become difficult even when the credentials are correct. W3C's accessible-authentication guidance recognises such mechanisms as ways to reduce the burden of recalling or transcribing information.
Record which step fails: filling the username, inserting the password, pasting a one-time code or confirming an approved device request. These are different interactions. Do not put the secret itself in the report. A statement such as the password field rejects paste while manual typing is accepted describes the obstacle without exposing access details.
A hypothetical multi-step sign-in
Suppose a viewer's password manager fills the first step, but a verification form requires each code character to be entered separately and does not accept a complete paste. The existing-account task has more than one stage, and assistance at the first stage does not settle the second. Use the provider's documented alternative method if one is available.
Verify that the page is the official destination before entering any credential. Do not install an unknown helper extension or send the code to someone offering to type it for you. The accessibility issue belongs in the provider's support process; it is not a reason to move authentication into an unverified person's hands.
If the form offers several supported sign-in routes, choose one you can operate and record which route worked. That is a practical session result. It does not prove that every alternative is accessible or that the original blocked assistance no longer needs correction. Preserve the exact affected field and input method for the operator.
Test the complete existing-account task
After an update, confirm that the required assistance works through all relevant steps and that the correct account opens. A field accepting paste is only one part of the task. Labels, focus, errors and the final confirmation must remain understandable. Test with an authorised account and keep private material out of public captures.
The useful report identifies the application, verified sign-in route, blocked assistance, step and observed outcome. It need not disclose a disability or explain why the person uses a password manager. The technical question is whether the supported account-access workflow can be completed with the assistance the viewer requires.
Questions answered
Should I send my password or verification code to demonstrate the problem?
No. Describe the blocked field and interaction without sharing the secret.
Does an assisted first step prove the whole sign-in flow is usable?
No. Check the complete existing-account task, including any verification and recovery steps relevant to the route.
