Search the television store, not a phone store
Samsung’s published route uses Apps from the television home screen, followed by Search and the desired listing. Its instructions say that only applications available in the TV App Store can be installed through that route. A phone or desktop download with the same name does not establish a Samsung TV version.
Write down the precise television model and the application’s developer. If a tutorial shows a different store or platform, stop before following its installer steps. An Android APK is not a substitute for a missing native Tizen listing.
Do not reset before identifying the mismatch
A factory reset cannot create a platform version that the developer has not distributed. First collect the model, installed software, account or region context and the exact app name. Then use Samsung and the developer’s matching support guidance.
If an external device becomes the chosen alternative, name it as a separate playback route with its own operating system and app requirements. Connecting one through HDMI does not change the television’s native app store. Confirm the intended service’s access method before paying for software or hardware.
Questions answered
Does an app missing from Home mean it is not installed?
Not necessarily. Check the Apps area and the actual installed application controls.
Can I replace a missing Tizen listing with a phone APK?
Use the supported native distribution or a separate supported device route; a phone package is not a Tizen app.
