Observe the frame first
The Super Channel+ developer listing warns that some content is not supplied in widescreen format and may display with bars on a widescreen television. A visible border is therefore not, by itself, evidence that the app has stopped working. Begin with what the picture actually does.
Note where the bars appear, whether the image looks distorted and whether the controls and subtitles remain readable. Keep the film title and device. Those observations are more useful than immediately changing a collection of television settings to make the whole screen light up.
Compare one thing at a time
Use the screen’s current display information and manufacturer instructions if you need to inspect its picture or fit setting. Record the original state before any change. A comparison is easier to interpret when only one variable changes.
If another currently available title looks different on the same route, note that difference without assuming the two films should have the same frame. Their source presentations can differ. This article does not identify the aspect ratio or master of a film that has not been individually checked.
Ask about the actual symptom
For support, distinguish ordinary bars from cut-off text, stretched proportions, an image positioned incorrectly or playback stopping. Include the exact film, app, television or external player and the settings information you can actually see.
The purpose is to establish the nature of the problem before deciding whether anything needs changing. A frame filling the display is not a necessary test of correct presentation. This guide has not played your film or certified a particular device’s picture settings.
Questions answered
Do picture bars automatically prove an app fault?
No. The developer explicitly warns that some content is presented with bars.
Does this article identify my film’s exact source format?
No. It describes an observation and support method, without checking that specific film master.
