The device and platform

Treat the film discovery as the starting point
Takflix’s FAQ says its ordinary film access is for private viewing and directs public-screening enquiries to the film’s rights holders. A charity purpose does not turn an advertised event into an ordinary home viewing. Begin the event plan with the permission enquiry, before publishing a date or collecting attendance commitments.
Record the exact film title, year and the rights contact supplied with its description. A general service subscription is not a document specifying permission for your venue, date or audience. Keep those event details together so the recipient can understand the proposal without asking basic questions one at a time.
Write a compact event brief
Prepare the proposed date, city, country and venue; expected audience and whether admission is charged; the charity purpose; and the available screening-rights budget. Add the film format and subtitle language you need. These details make the enquiry concrete and help reveal whether the event is workable.
For fundraising, explain how proceeds will be handled and what reporting you can provide. Keep aspirations distinct from commitments: an expected audience is an estimate until people register, and an intended donation amount should not be described as money already raised.
Ask how the film should be supplied
Request the approved screening copy and playback requirements through the rights contact’s instructions. Do not assume that opening a private stream on a venue projector is the agreed delivery method. The event’s copy, subtitles and technical preparation need to match the permission actually granted.
Once the response arrives, check the title, date, place, audience conditions, permitted publicity and delivery details. If something essential is missing, resolve it with the contact before announcing the event. Keep the correspondence with the event brief so a colleague can see what has been agreed.
Prepare the venue after the permission route is clear
Plan a technical check of the authorised delivery method, readable subtitles, sound and the viewing position of the audience. This is a future event check, not evidence that a particular film or device has already been tested. A clear brief and a recorded permission route make the practical work easier to coordinate.
