Check what kind of change you made
The official Binge help answer for Flexi app changes says one app change is allowed per billing cycle and that it takes effect in the next cycle. Selecting a replacement is therefore a scheduling action, not a promise of immediate access.
First confirm that the screen concerns an app choice inside a Flexi plan. A plan upgrade is another workflow with different timing. Write down the wording shown in the confirmation so a pending app selection is not mistaken for a failed payment or broken partner login.
Work backwards from the viewing date
If a programme is the reason for the change, decide when you can realistically start it. Compare that date with the next cycle shown in your account. A series available through the new app cannot be part of tonight’s plan merely because you requested the replacement today.
Also consider what remains in the app being replaced. Finish the programme you intended to complete before its access changes, where your current entitlement permits. This is an organisational suggestion; it does not establish an extra grace period, download exception or transferable library.
Keep a record of the pending choice
Record the old selection, requested replacement and displayed effective date. That gives you enough information to check the outcome when the cycle changes. Repeatedly editing choices without preserving the confirmation makes it harder to tell which request was accepted.
After the new cycle starts, return to My Plan and compare the active selection with your record. If the new app is shown but playback still fails, describe that as an activation or playback issue. If the old selection remains, report the pending-change discrepancy instead.
Resolve the right question
A useful support request states that you made a Flexi app replacement, when you made it, what date was shown and which selection is now active. The cited answer was retrieved from the official help centre on 4 November 2026. Recheck it if your current account displays a different rule.
