TF1+ Premium: classify the advert before troubleshooting

A live-channel break and an unexpected advert on an on-demand programme need different checks.

A logo is identity evidence

Begin with what you are watching

An advertisement appearing during a TF1+ session is not enough information to diagnose the account. Write down whether the screen is showing a live channel, a replay or another on-demand programme. TF1's current Premium description includes exceptions for live television and certain programmes for contractual reasons. A live-channel commercial break can therefore sit inside a correctly signed-in paid session. Repeatedly signing out will not remove an exception that belongs to the programme's actual viewing conditions.

Use the programme timeline as evidence

A useful report says when the advert appeared in relation to the programme. Was it a break in the running live feed, an advertisement before playback, or a repeated interruption that prevented the item starting? Describe the visible behavior without guessing the cause. If the same point can be revisited, retain its approximate time and programme identity. This is especially useful when the word advert is being used for several different experiences, including a normal commercial segment and a player that never reaches the programme.

Check the paid product independently

Confirm which account and TF1+ product are actually in use. TF1+ Premium and separate à-la-carte offers have their own descriptions, while the free service follows a different access choice. A household may own a paid subscription but open a session that is not connected to it. Check the actual account view rather than treating a familiar profile name or installed app as proof of the current subscription. Keep payment records private and compare only the product and relevant dates.

A more precise comparison

Imagine a viewer who sees adverts during a live channel and also reports an on-demand film repeatedly returning to a loading screen. Those observations should be kept in two lines. The first may match a stated advertising exception; the second describes a playback failure that needs its own evidence. Testing a different on-demand item can help establish the scope, but it does not create a promise that every programme has identical advertising conditions. Use the actual Premium description for the relevant item and route.

What to retain for the next step

Keep the programme, viewing mode, selected product, device/application version and exact sequence of events. Follow TF1's current help for any account mismatch or persistent playback issue. Avoid applying an arbitrary browser extension or another service's advertising policy as a fix. A clear classification makes the conversation useful: it separates a paid-plan expectation, a contractual content exception and a technical symptom, instead of calling all three evidence that the subscription is not working.

An account question should retain the selected TF1+ product, rather than assuming another household member’s purchase applies to the current session.

Questions answered

Does TF1+ Premium remove advertisements from every live feed?

The current terms retain exceptions for live channels and certain programmes.

Should I diagnose a looping player in the same way as a normal live advert break?

No. Record the loading or playback failure separately from the advertising context.
