The international television guide has its own heading

CNA’s official television guide is headed Live TV International Schedule and directs viewers to meWatch for the Singapore schedule. That is a meaningful choice before comparing appointment times. A household using the international guide should not assume it necessarily describes every Singapore domestic television entry.

Keep international or Singapore with the saved schedule reference. A familiar CNA logo and an English interface can appear in both contexts. If a programme seems absent or differently timed, compare the selected guide and receiving route before changing the device clock to fit one entry.

Different news titles describe different editorial appointments

CNA’s live page identifies bulletins including Asia First, East Asia Tonight, Asia Tonight and Singapore Tonight. The schedule separately lists news and longer current-affairs or documentary productions. Retain the full title when looking for a specific edition; Singapore Tonight and Asia Tonight are not alternate spellings of one bulletin.

A report excerpt can appear in more than one news production as a story develops. Seeing the same subject does not establish that two recordings contain the same complete bulletin. Keep the original date and edition with the title, especially when choosing a programme after midnight in another viewing location.

A documentary episode is not the running channel

The international grid includes programmes such as Insight, with individual episode topics, alongside the live news sequence. A named documentary topic helps distinguish one episode from another. A series tile or an editorial article about the same subject should not replace the exact complete programme requested.

For a missed item, inspect its programme page and duration. For current news, use the running live channel route. A short digital explanation ending after its stated length is not evidence that a continuous channel has disconnected, because the selected item may have been a complete standalone production.

An Insight episode about South Korea does not become East Asia Tonight solely because both programmes concern that region.

CNA938 and podcasts belong to the audio route

CNA’s Listen page identifies CNA938 radio and audio interviews separately from its television Watch page. A shared journalist, subject or publisher does not turn that audio interview into the television bulletin. Retain the medium when a search returns both a video and a podcast about the same event.

A clear viewing note names CNA television, the guide edition, programme and date, followed by live channel or full recording. If the item is audio, label it CNA938 or the named podcast instead. These details help resolve an apparent missing picture or wrong schedule without treating every CNA publication as one interchangeable stream.

Questions answered

Does CNA’s international schedule automatically describe its Singapore listing?

No. The official guide points to a separate Singapore schedule on meWatch.

Is a CNA938 interview the same item as a CNA television bulletin?

No. CNA938 is an audio route; keep the programme and medium with the request.
