France 4 moved to TNT position four in June 2025
France Télévisions’ change notice places France 4 on TNT channel four from 6 June 2025. An old favourite or printed guide pointing to its earlier position can therefore need checking. That statement concerns the named French terrestrial numbering arrangement; another television provider can organize its own programme list differently.
Start with France 4 and the actual receiving service rather than assuming every fourth item in an app is the channel. A numbered slot is useful reception information, but a programme collection, search result or app tile can use its own order. Keep channel identity and navigation position as separate clues.
Okoo is the children’s offer within the programme
The broadcaster’s current change notice says France 4 continues to carry Okoo and expands its cultural offer. Okoo is also available through other France Télévisions routes. Seeing that brand on a children’s programme therefore does not identify a separate receiver channel or guarantee that the complete day remains children’s television.
For a household reminder, retain the specific series, episode and broadcast date. A collection of Okoo programmes can be useful for choosing an episode at another time, while the running France 4 channel follows its own current grid. The programme brand and the linear appointment should not replace one another.
The cultural strand can present a recorded performance
France 4’s November 2026 programme information includes cultural material described through Culturebox, alongside youth entries. One published performance description identifies a capture made at a Paris venue in March 2024. A later television airing of that recording is a different date from the original performance.
Keep both dates if they matter to the search. A concert described as a live performance can have been recorded before its television transmission. Inspect the programme notice for the actual capture and airing information before interpreting the word live as a promise of a simultaneous event from the venue.
Choose the programme before choosing the viewing format
Culturebox’s programme identity can also appear on an individual production page or a france.tv recording. That page is useful for the named show; it is not automatically a replay of the entire evening’s channel schedule. A clip of one artist and a complete concert provide different amounts of the same event.
A clear request names France 4, the Okoo series or cultural performance, the episode or capture where known, and the intended transmission date. Add live channel, full recording or selected extract as appropriate. This makes it possible to resolve an outdated channel position separately from a wrong episode or a recording that contains only part of a performance.
