KNR: live channels, news and on-demand programmes

Find KNR’s Greenlandic media through its official live and on-demand routes, with general, news and children’s publishing kept distinct.

Decide whether you need what is on now

KNR’s official online-services page separates live KNR1, KNR2 and radio from its on-demand television and radio routes. These links answer different questions. A live channel shows the current output; an on-demand record is the appropriate place to recover a named programme or edition.

If you followed a news link expecting a documentary, return to the programme route rather than repeatedly selecting the live channel. Conversely, a saved on-demand news edition will not become the latest bulletin merely because the programme name is unchanged. Keep the date alongside the title when the purpose is current information.

Use the official editorial destination

KNR identifies three distinct YouTube destinations for general television programmes, latest news and children’s material. Follow those links from the broadcaster’s own page to establish the intended publisher. Search results containing the letters KNR can include excerpts or reuploads without the same context.

Choose the news destination for a bulletin, the general programme route for a longer television item and the children’s route when looking for that editorial offering. This is a publishing distinction, not a promise that every programme is duplicated across the website and each external destination.

Keep the programme and passage together

For a community or language discussion, write down the title as published, the edition date and the person or topic you want to revisit. If a short passage refers to an earlier interview or sequence, open the full programme to understand the reference before discussing it.

Do not infer a subtitle or audio language solely from the Danish, Greenlandic or English interface selected on the site. Those controls describe how the page is presented. Inspect the chosen programme’s own text and audio options for the actual edition. The services page alone does not certify Danish subtitles for every programme.

Make a useful distinction when something is absent

An item missing from a news destination may still belong to the general television catalogue. A radio programme may have a related television discussion without being the same recording. Check the medium and editorial route before treating a failed title search as evidence that the programme has been removed.

Preserve a direct item reference once found. A bookmark to the live front page cannot identify the same programme weeks later. This guide checks KNR’s published service map and official outbound links; it does not establish complete archive coverage, playback abroad or the availability of a particular language track.

Questions answered

Does a Danish interface guarantee Danish subtitles?

No. Check the actual programme edition and player. Interface language does not establish the programme’s audio or subtitle choices.
