The regional station is a separate field in TVP’s guide

TVP’s current programme guide provides a regional-station selector containing branches such as Białystok, Gdańsk, Katowice, Kraków, Warszawa and Wrocław. Select that branch alongside the date. A bare TVP3 heading can leave the local programme unresolved even when the surrounding television service is correct.

Preserve Polish accents in a saved note where possible, and keep the complete branch name when using simplified search text. A city mentioned in a report is not necessarily the branch that broadcast it. The regional selector and the actual programme entry are better clues than a general Poland television category.

For example, a Warszawa programme and a Wrocław programme can share TVP3 branding while answering different local-news requests. Preserve the branch rather than merging their dated bulletins.

A bulletin title needs its broadcaster and edition

TVP3 Wrocław publishes dated Fakty editions, including separate evening appointments. Keep TVP3 Wrocław with Fakty: a short generic news title is less precise than the full broadcaster, programme and date. A programme entry can also distinguish the main edition from another broadcast later that evening.

For a missed bulletin, open the full dated edition rather than the first related article. A report extracted from that programme may have its own headline and shorter running time. Its completion after one story is normal for an individual report, while the full bulletin contains the wider edition.

The common programme can contain a composite transmission

TVP’s August 2025 autumn announcement describes MiniMulti1Liga as a combined production moving among three simultaneous football matches in TVP3’s common programme. That dated example shows why a channel appointment is not always a complete single-match transmission. The programme format matters alongside the teams appearing in its description.

When searching an archive from that period, distinguish the combined programme from a full recording of one fixture. Keep its date and exact production title. The old launch announcement is not a promise that the same teams, rights or weekly appointment continue in a later season.

Match regional and common content at the point of difference

TVP’s regional structure includes local branch output and shared programming. If two televisions agree for most of the day but differ during local news, compare the selected branch before assuming the whole TVP3 feed is wrong. A nationally shared programme can legitimately appear on several regional variants.

A useful support note identifies the receiving service, expected branch, branch actually shown, bulletin title and date. For a recording, add main or evening edition where the programme page supplies it. This preserves the local information needed to investigate a regional mismatch without turning a general TVP3 logo into proof of a specific local bulletin.

Does TVP3 alone identify my local news edition?

No. Choose the regional station and date in the official guide.

Does a combined multi-match programme necessarily contain one complete fixture?

No. Its production can move among simultaneous matches; identify the actual programme format.
