TOLO TV and TOLOnews are different channel identities
MOBY Group’s official channel information describes TOLO TV and TOLOnews separately. TOLO TV has an entertainment and general-programming identity, while TOLOnews is a news and current-affairs service. A list containing one should not be read as evidence that the other is also included.
Keep the complete name when asking for a programme. A short TOLO label can leave the intended schedule unresolved. A report on TOLOnews about a drama, performer or cultural event is not automatically a way to watch the complete entertainment production on TOLO TV.
Lemar gives a specific Pashto programme context
The group describes Lemar as a Pashto-language television service, while its TOLO TV information refers to Dari and Pashto output. These descriptions provide a useful starting point for a language-specific request. They do not establish that every video carries both languages as selectable audio tracks.
If a particular language is essential, retain the original programme title and the service named in its announcement. A Dari report and a Pashto edition about the same subject may be separate productions. Inspect the actual recording and any caption controls instead of inferring its language from a general Afghanistan category.
Historic entertainment titles are not a current running order
The group’s channel profiles name past productions and milestones as part of their history. A familiar series or talent-show title in that history does not establish that a new season is currently scheduled or that every old episode remains available. Look for the actual programme page, season and recording.
For a news discussion, keep the guest, topic and edition date. For a serial or entertainment programme, use its episode details. A promotional clip, a complete episode and a news story about a programme are different items even when they share a title or presenter.
Sports agreements need their publication date and competition
TOLOnews has published reports about broadcasting agreements and specific sports competitions. Treat each as a dated arrangement with a particular scope. An older multi-year agreement should not become an indefinite promise that every later national-team match or event is available on all group services.
For a new contest, check the current competition announcement, channel and viewing location. Keep live play separate from a news report or highlights. For a calendar appointment, use the event’s actual date and Asia/Kabul as the originating location. If checking another provider, name TOLO TV, TOLOnews or Lemar and give an exact programme or fixture; the MOBY umbrella identity alone does not establish its complete television, radio and archive catalogue.
Questions answered
Does TOLO TV on a list also mean TOLOnews?
They are distinct services. Keep the full channel name and check the current list.
Can I rely on an old Afghan cricket agreement for every future match?
No. Check the agreement’s date and scope, then find the current competition’s programme notice and viewing conditions.
