Moana TV is an operator product, while CITV is a channel entry

Vodafone Cook Islands presents Moana TV as its television product and lists CITV among the channel choices. Keep the operator product and broadcaster identity separate. A request for Cook Islands television can mean the local CITV programme, the complete operator package or an imported channel within it.

The same list includes services from other countries. Their presence does not make them local Cook Islands broadcasters or establish that another provider carries them. For a particular programme, retain the original channel and title inside the package rather than asking only for the Moana TV brand.

The island matters to the installation enquiry

Vodafone’s Moana TV FAQ states that the service is available to its customers on Rarotonga and Aitutaki and is not offered to the Outer Islands through that arrangement. Keep the actual island in a local installation enquiry. A national telecom website or country flag is not evidence of identical television service at every address.

Use the current operator instructions to confirm the receiving setup before planning equipment or a package. The product’s terms describe a dedicated local IP television arrangement. That is different from assuming that a generic app or an overseas internet connection can reproduce the same operator service.

Channel lists can change and numbers belong to the package

The operator publishes channel names and positions and says the offered lineup can change. Treat the displayed position as part of that package, not a universal number to enter into every television guide. An older help article’s count should not replace checking the actual present list.

For an important series or event, confirm the exact channel and programme through a representative item. A package listing a channel does not establish every on-demand episode or every sporting event in another territory. Keep live television separate from a request for a particular recorded production.

A local notice and a programme recording answer different questions

Vodafone also publishes television maintenance and channel-disruption notices. Use their dates and stated scope. A past fault notice should not be presented as a permanent outage, and a currently accessible homepage does not establish that every listed channel is playing at that moment.

For a local-time appointment, retain the date and use Pacific/Rarotonga as the originating calendar location when appropriate to the listing. If checking a different provider, name CITV or the actual programme source, identify your viewing country and device, and say whether live or recorded access is needed. A mobile data add-on, a TV package and a programme archive are separate products.

Questions answered

Does Moana TV availability automatically include the Outer Islands?

Vodafone’s current FAQ identifies Rarotonga and Aitutaki and says the Outer Islands are outside that arrangement. Confirm the actual island and installation route.

Is a Moana TV channel position universal?

No. It belongs to that operator’s lineup. Match the channel name in the current package list.
