Canal 13 identifies SINART television, not all SINART media
Costa Rica's official cultural directory identifies Canal 13 as SINART's television service and distinguishes it from Radio Nacional and SINART Digital. These are different media identities within the same organisation. Keep Canal 13 in a viewing request rather than assuming a written SINART article or a radio selection is the intended television programme.
The broadcaster uses Canal Trece and Canal 13 wording in its published viewing routes. Preserve the actual publisher and programme when comparing those labels. A number in a receiver guide can be a local distribution position, while the number in the broadcaster's name is part of its identity; recording both avoids replacing a programme reference with an ambiguous button number.
Quince UCR is a separate university television service
The University of Costa Rica identifies Quince UCR as its television channel. Its university profile describes scientific, humanistic, journalistic, educational and entertainment programming, including local productions and material connected with Costa Rican society. It should remain distinct from SINART's Canal 13 even when both publish public-interest or cultural programming.
For a university discussion or documentary, keep Quince UCR and the original title. A university news story announcing a television programme can help establish its subject and guests, but it is not necessarily the complete programme. Follow the production reference rather than treating every UCR-branded video as part of the same linear channel schedule.
UCRQ and Quince’s programme pages support episode searches
Quince UCR's site lists original productions with season or episode information and points viewers toward UCRQ. The latter presents documentaries, concerts, conferences, series and other channel productions alongside a live-channel route. This distinction is useful for a teacher or viewer who wants a specific complete programme rather than whichever item happens to be on television now.
Retain a production title such as Materia gris, Palabra de mujer or Libros al aire and the published season or episode. A subject search can surface a blog, programme announcement or short extract before the full edition. Check the format and duration in the actual programme record before using it for a class or a shared viewing appointment.
Keep the live schedule separate from a library bookmark
For a linear appointment, use the broadcaster's dated guide and the full Canal 13 or Quince UCR identity. America/Costa_Rica is the IANA identifier for an announcement explicitly expressed in local Costa Rican time. Convert the actual date for family or colleagues abroad instead of relying on a permanent difference from a European city.
For a library programme, save the episode page and its original edition details. A published app or platform route does not establish support for every smart television, and a cultural channel description does not establish worldwide rights to every film. These primary references identify Costa Rican television and archive routes; they do not establish inclusion in an IPTV Europe subscription.
