Viewing location
RTVD’s current site separates its television services
Radio Televisión Dominicana’s website names RTVD 4, RTVD 17 and RTVD Internacional in its television navigation. Keep the complete service label when checking a programme. The RTVD identity is useful publisher context, while the number or Internacional qualifier identifies the particular choice.
CERTV is the corporate name linked from the same site. A corporate information page is different from a television feed, even where it links to the broadcaster’s live destination. Use the present television selector to establish what you actually opened rather than treating every CERTV page as a channel player.
RTVD CLIC is a programme destination around those choices
The official RTVD site directs viewers to RTVD CLIC for favourite programmes and links its series and programme collections there. A platform can present more than one live choice as well as individual recordings. Keep the selected service or episode name after following the platform link.
This distinction matters when returning to a series. La Familia Espejo is presented with a season label on the broadcaster’s site, while Trinitarios La Serie is identified as an animated production. Preserve the season or episode when supplied. A trailer or promotional page can identify the production without containing the complete episode.
Sports discussion and a full contest are different requests
RTVD describes Central Deportes through news, discussion and interviews. A viewer interested in sporting analysis may want that programme, while someone seeking a complete match needs a specific event and its broadcast notice. A sports programme brand does not by itself establish live rights to every contest discussed.
For an event, retain the competition, participants and date. For an interview, keep the guest and edition. A report about a game may be available even where the full match is offered under a different arrangement. Check the selected item’s description and running time instead of equating every sports thumbnail with a live broadcast.
Radio and programme-clock choices remain separate
The site also links Quisqueya FM, Dominicana FM and Radio Santo Domingo as radio services. Those entries should not be counted as additional RTVD television channels. If sound plays without a picture, check whether a radio link was selected before treating it as a television fault.
For a live appointment, use the current programme date and America/Santo_Domingo when a calendar requires the originating location. For another television provider, request RTVD 4, RTVD 17 or Internacional by name and add an example programme. State whether a live feed or a particular recording is required. A corporate logo or a Dominican Republic category cannot establish the exact service, complete CLIC archive or every programme’s availability abroad.
Questions answered
Does CERTV identify a single live channel?
It is the corporate context. Use the current RTVD television service name and the selected programme.
Are Dominicana FM and RTVD 4 the same kind of service?
No. Dominicana FM is radio, while RTVD 4 is a television selection. Check the medium before troubleshooting playback.
