ETV+ is not decorative punctuation

ERR’s Jupiter service presents ETV, ETV2 and ETV+ as separate television entries. The number or plus sign is part of the identity. Shortening all three to ETV can make a channel-list comparison ambiguous before any playback problem is investigated.

Keep the original label in a request, together with the programme name and date. This is useful for a news bulletin or a show that appears in more than one edition. A familiar ERR brand cannot tell you which feed was selected after a list or guide has removed the suffix.

Jupiter separates live viewing from programmes

Jupiter’s current pages show live entries alongside programmes, series, films, sport and audio-related material. A live channel joins the running schedule; a selected programme opens its own item. A short editorial video is another result, even when it shares the programme’s title.

For an earlier bulletin, retain the broadcast date. A recurring title such as Aktuaalne kaamera can have several editions and associated weather items. Searching only the broad title may find a different time or an additional segment rather than the exact bulletin a viewer remembers.

A language need should identify the programme version

Estonian speech, another spoken-language edition and subtitles are separate viewing choices. The language of the website interface is not enough to establish which one a programme supplies. Check the actual item and selected track rather than using Estonia as a single audio setting.

ERR also publishes sign-language news material with its own programme identity. If that is the essential requirement, retain the signed edition in the request. A text transcript, a subtitle track and a signed programme each support a different viewing task.

Compare the stage where the difference appears

If the wrong bulletin appears, compare the ETV service, programme edition and timestamp first. If the correct title opens but the player fails, retain the visible message and device surface as a separate observation. If only a text or language option differs, describe that option rather than calling the entire channel unavailable.

Jupiter’s official pages establish the broadcaster’s programme and platform identities. They do not establish that an unrelated subscription includes ERR content or that every app surface has identical media controls. An exact programme request keeps those issues separate.

Questions answered

Can ETV+ be shortened to ETV without losing information?

No. The plus sign identifies a separate television entry.

What helps distinguish recurring Aktuaalne kaamera results?

The bulletin date, edition or time, and whether the result is the news programme or an associated segment.

Is a signed news edition the same as a subtitle track?

No. Keep the required accessibility edition explicit.
