FBC TV, FBC2 and FBC Sports identify different feeds

VITI+ lists FBC TV, FBC2 and FBC Sports as separate live choices. Keep the complete name when asking about a programme. A television list containing FBC TV does not, by those words alone, identify FBC2 or the sports feed. These entries should remain separate in a household shortlist.

Walesi’s official FAQ also lists channels from multiple broadcasters, including Fiji One, MaiTV and other services alongside the FBC entries. Walesi is therefore a distribution context rather than another name for FBC’s own channel family. A channel on a terrestrial platform and an online stream need different access checks.

A Fiji-only sports stream can coexist with an overseas event

The FBC Sports page on VITI+ displays a Fiji-only viewing notice. FBC also publishes announcements for particular VITI+ sports events offered to overseas viewers, including pay-per-view events. Those two facts are compatible: a continuous channel feed and a separately offered event can have different viewing conditions.

Check the exact event page and the present location notice instead of treating either as a universal rule for all content. An announcement for one rugby or boxing event should not become a promise that every FBC Sports programme is available abroad. The event, territory and viewing product all need to match.

VITI+ includes programmes as well as live television

FBC’s platform announcement describes live and on-demand content. The current browse area includes named Fijian productions and replay items. When selecting a programme, inspect its title, language, running time and episode information rather than assuming every thumbnail opens the live channel.

For example, VITI+ describes Ko Viti Kei na Qito as an iTaukei-language FBC News production. That is a specific programme-language clue. It does not establish that every service has the same language, or that an English navigation menu supplies an English track for that recording.

Keep platform conditions separate from a channel enquiry

Walesi reception, a VITI+ account and an event purchase are different arrangements. Use the current official instructions for the route you actually choose. A familiar sports badge in another player does not establish that the player includes a separately offered event or the broadcaster’s archive.

For a viewing demonstration, name the exact channel or event and state whether you are in Fiji or abroad. Include the competition and date for sport, and the episode for a series. Test that item on the intended device. Avoid using an old event price, an old schedule or a platform-wide marketing phrase as the terms of a new programme.

Questions answered

Why can an FBC Sports stream be Fiji-only while an event is offered abroad?

A continuous channel and a separately licensed event can have different conditions. Check the current event page and your viewing location.

Is Walesi another FBC channel?

No. Walesi’s directory includes channels from multiple broadcasters. Identify the channel and the distribution route separately.
