RTG belongs to the Republic of Guinea

Guinea's Communication Ministry identifies Radio Télévision Guinéenne as the country's public audiovisual service and links rtgguinee.info as its website. Keep Republic of Guinea with the RTG identity when searching. Guinea-Bissau and Equatorial Guinea have different national television publishers, so a shortened Guinea TV request can select an unrelated service.

The ministry separately names RTG1, RTG2, Radio Guinée and RKS among the group's media. Preserve the actual service and medium rather than treating every RTG-branded result as the same television channel. A ministry news account can establish broadcaster context without itself providing the complete programme or a live picture feed.

RTG1 and RTG2 have separate television descriptions

The broadcaster's live-viewing page describes RTG1 as the national television service and RTG2 around culture, entertainment, sport, music, youth and community subjects. These descriptions are useful discovery context for someone who remembers a programme's purpose but has not yet identified the precise production. They are not today's complete timetable.

Keep the number in the television name when comparing a programme announcement with a guide entry. A cultural report can also appear in a national bulletin, so its subject alone cannot prove which service originally carried the complete edition. Confirm the programme identification and date before deciding that two similar entries are interchangeable.

A numbered RTG radio entry is not the picture channel

The same broadcaster page separately presents Radio Nationale and Radio Kaloum Stereo with RTG numbering. This makes television or radio a necessary part of a support request. Sound from a radio selection can be working correctly while failing to provide the television programme's pictures, captions or on-screen interview presentation.

Keep the selected service, medium and programme with any error description. A presenter or song can appear across television and radio, but that does not establish identical programme length or availability. A French-language description of the group likewise does not establish every programme's spoken edition or a menu of national-language audio tracks.

Koloma and Boulbinet add production context, not universal availability

The ministry discusses modernisation at Koloma and Boulbinet as production sites. Those place names can help interpret older guide labels or a remembered broadcaster reference, but a site or studio name is not automatically an additional channel with a separately accessible live feed. Keep the named television service and programme first.

Use Africa/Conakry for a listing explicitly expressed in Guinean local time, with the full date before conversion abroad. For a replay, retain the original edition date separately from publication and identify whether it is a whole programme or a short report. These primary references establish RTG identities; they do not verify IPTV Europe carriage, every regional feed or access to the broadcaster's complete catalogue internationally.

Questions answered

Is RTG1 radio the same selection as RTG1 television?

No. The broadcaster separately presents television and radio services with related numbering. Keep the medium in the request.

Does RTG2’s cultural description identify today’s exact programme?

No. It is service context. Use a dated programme or edition announcement to identify the actual broadcast.

Are Koloma and Boulbinet automatically extra live channels?

No. The ministry identifies them as production sites. Confirm the actual service rather than turning a location into a feed promise.
