PBS Guam and KUAM are separate publishers
PBS Guam identifies itself as Guam Educational Telecommunications Corporation, KGTF Channel 12, with an educational and cultural media role. KUAM has a separate local news and television website. Keep the broadcaster and programme together when making an enquiry instead of treating a general Guam category as one channel.
A programme about the Mariana Islands can appear through different publishers and formats. A cultural documentary, local news report and complete discussion are not interchangeable merely because they cover the same community. Save the exact programme title and recording link when a particular production is wanted.
KUAM’s current schedule choices need their own labels
KUAM’s site separates schedule links labelled TV11, TV8, TVONE and GNN. Retain the displayed selection and programme title. The group identity alone does not establish which running order a player or provider entry represents.
The same site has listening and podcast routes, including The Breeze and Isla Chamoru Music. Those are distinct media choices. Hearing audio without a television picture can simply mean that a radio or podcast item was selected. Check the actual route before assuming the television feed has failed.
PBS live television and individual videos have different conditions
PBS Guam links to its television and digital programme routes. PBS’s official live-streaming guidance says local-station streams are tied to the served broadcast area and available within the United States and territories. A station membership should not be treated as a guarantee of local live viewing from every country.
For a documentary or educational programme, inspect the individual on-demand page. PBS explains that live and replay rights can differ, so a programme carried in the live schedule may have a different recorded-viewing arrangement. A working homepage is not proof of playback of every item.
Guam’s local date belongs in a programme reminder
Keep the broadcaster’s stated date and use Pacific/Guam when a calendar requires the originating location for a local-time listing. Do not substitute a mainland US network clock or another Pacific territory’s guide without checking which service and date the announcement actually names.
If asking another provider, specify PBS Guam or the relevant KUAM service and an example programme, your device and viewing country. Say whether live television or a particular recording is essential. A Guam folder cannot establish the full local news archive, all group schedules, radio output and every PBS programme together; test the selected item through the appropriate permitted route.
