Al-Iraqiya is more specific when the service is named

The Iraqi Media Network’s official channel directory distinguishes Iraqia General, Iraqi News, Iraqi Kurdish and Iraqi Sports. Those identities resolve different viewing needs. A family programme on the general channel is not automatically part of the news service’s schedule, and a sports report is not the same product as a complete match broadcast.

When comparing channel lists, retain the full displayed service name. Transliteration can vary between Al-Iraqiya and Iraqia, so use the broadcaster identity together with the service role and an example programme. A shared logo family or country flag alone leaves that role unresolved.

Kurdish television needs an actual language requirement

IMN identifies its Kurdish service as broadcasting in Kurdish and serving the Kurdistan Region. This provides a specific starting point for a Kurdish-language programme request, rather than treating every Iraqi service as an Arabic feed. It also does not establish that every other channel has an alternative Kurdish audio track.

If a particular dialect or subtitle language is essential, inspect the programme and specify the requirement. Keep the original title or the official page link when possible. A regional news story translated into Arabic can be a different item from the Kurdish bulletin that first carried the report.

News and sport require the edition or event

For Iraqi News, record the bulletin date and edition so an archived report is not mistaken for a current broadcast. A news website can publish articles and short videos alongside a television stream, and each should be read according to what it actually contains.

For Iraqi Sports, identify the competition, participants and date. The network describes a sports role that includes local leagues and other competitions, but that broad role should not be converted into a guarantee about every fixture. Confirm the date-specific programme notice and distinguish live play, studio discussion, highlights and recorded interviews.

Satellite parameters and internet playback are separate routes

IMN publishes satellite reception details alongside its channel information. Frequency, symbol rate and polarisation belong to a satellite receiving setup; they are not credentials for a web player or an IPTV application. Do not paste those technical values into unrelated login fields.

For online viewing, use the broadcaster’s current watch-live link for the intended service. If another provider lists an Iraqi channel, check its exact name and a representative programme from your viewing location. Tell the provider whether you need Arabic or Kurdish output and live or recorded access. This gives a clear basis for a demonstration without treating the broadcaster’s satellite information as proof of another service’s catalogue.

Questions answered
