iFilm has named language editions
iFilm’s own network information distinguishes English, Arabic and Persian services, with iFilm Farsi and iFilm 2 named within the network. The English site also links to other language versions. Choose the intended edition before matching a programme time or asking about a channel list.
A shared series title across editions does not prove that the audio, subtitles or transmission slot are identical. If a household wants English presentation of Iranian drama, specify iFilm English rather than a broad Iran television request. If the original Persian performance matters, keep that requirement separate from an English web synopsis.
The English site separates series, movies and shows
The iFilm English navigation distinguishes live television, series, movies, shows and schedule information. A film review or an interview with an actor may discuss a production without providing the complete film or episode. Read the page type and look for the actual player and episode details.
For a series, retain the exact translated title used by the selected edition and its episode number. Different English translations can refer to the same Persian production, while similar English titles can refer to unrelated works. The broadcaster’s own series page is the better place to resolve that identity than a loose title search.
Tehran and GMT labels describe two programme clocks
The English homepage presents programme promotions with Tehran and GMT time labels. Keep the time-zone label attached to the number when making a reminder. Copying a bare time into a calendar can move the programme to the wrong part of the day when the calendar assumes your current location.
Use the date-specific schedule for the edition you selected, particularly for programmes appearing after midnight. A late-night episode may fall on the next calendar day for one viewer and the previous evening for another. Use Asia/Tehran when a calendar requires the originating location-based identifier, rather than hard-coding a permanent numeric offset.
A live edition and a complete archived series need separate checks
A channel’s current programme schedule establishes what it plans to show, while an on-demand collection establishes which recordings are presently offered. Neither should be assumed to contain every historical episode. Check the recording’s number, duration and date before deciding that it completes a series.
If asking another television provider about iFilm, provide the language edition, series and whether live or recorded viewing is required. Test a representative item on your device and from your actual location. The network’s international presentation does not by itself establish that every item is available through every third-party player, nor that switching a player menu changes the language of a fixed feed.
Questions answered
Does iFilm on a list identify its language?
Not necessarily. Ask for the exact English, Arabic or Persian edition and check the programme itself.
Which time should I use from a Tehran/GMT promotion?
Keep the stated label and programme date, then convert it to your calendar’s local time. Do not copy a time without its zone.
