ORTC’s television and radio menus need to stay separate

ORTC's own site identifies the Office de Radio et Télévision des Comores and separates television productions from radio productions. Its menu uses some related titles in both areas, including La matinale, Upisi and Unono. The programme name alone may therefore leave uncertainty about the medium a viewer or listener intends to follow.

Keep television or radio, ORTC and the edition date together. A radio item can discuss the same subject or feature the same guest without containing the requested television pictures. The site's listening route is not evidence that a television player has failed, nor does an organisational ORTC label establish the exact production.

Msafara and Dakika 26 offer different programme context

The broadcaster describes Msafara in relation to culture, gastronomy and tourism, while Dakika 26 concerns towns and villages. These are useful local discovery clues for someone seeking a place, cultural practice or community report. Preserve the production title instead of reducing every result to a generic Comoros news clip.

For a particular community feature, retain the island, town or village and edition date when available. A later news story about the place is not automatically the same programme. A cultural extract, interview and complete production can each be useful, but they should be identified by their actual format before sharing them with family or using them in a presentation.

A named interview or performance is not an entire channel

ORTC's programme material also identifies Naswaha na mastehi and performance-oriented productions. For a guest appearance or musical item, the relevant record needs the production, participant and date. A programme description can help identify a remembered show without establishing that the current linear channel is playing it now.

Keep the publisher's original Comorian spelling and add a French explanation separately if useful. Website navigation in French does not establish the spoken language of every programme or selectable subtitles. An interview about ORTC's anniversary is likewise a specific production, not a replacement for the broadcaster's complete daily programme guide.

Use the island context and an actual Comorian date

For a live appointment, establish the current ORTC programme and the schedule's stated clock. Use Indian/Comoro when the listing is explicitly in local Comorian time, then convert the full date for a viewer abroad. Keep the story's island and the viewer's location separate from the programme's published time basis.

For a replay, preserve the original edition date and distinguish a short segment from the whole production. A general satellite, digital or coverage description does not establish reception at every address or access through a different provider. These broadcaster references identify Comorian service and programme context; they do not establish IPTV Europe carriage, a universal replay window or rights to every programme internationally.

Questions answered

Why specify television or radio for La matinale or Unono?

ORTC lists productions under separate radio and television menus, with some related names. Confirm the intended medium and edition.

What details identify a Dakika 26 feature?

Keep the production title, island, town or village and date, and check whether the result is the complete feature or an extract.

Does French navigation confirm French audio or subtitles?

No. Preserve the programme’s original title and verify the actual spoken edition or available subtitle options.
