Viewing location
LTV1 and LTV7 retain separate schedules
REplay’s official programme pages list LTV1 and LTV7 separately, together with the VisiemLTV context. The number is part of the service name. A Latvian television group that removes it cannot reliably identify which schedule a viewer is comparing.
Begin with the full channel label and the date. For a daily programme, the title alone is not enough: several editions can share the name. A wrong programme at one time can be a channel or guide mismatch without proving that the entire television route has stopped working.
Live rewind is not the same as an archive promise
REplay’s help distinguishes the live route from the programme archive. It states that rights agreements determine whether a programme appears in the archive, how long it remains and whether it is viewable outside Latvia. The ability to navigate a dated television guide does not define those conditions.
When looking for something already shown, inspect the actual programme item. A live-rewind control, an archived full video and a short excerpt are different resources. Do not turn the presence of one into an assumed retention window for every other programme.
Keep speech, text and interface language apart
A Latvian or Russian interface changes the navigation context, not necessarily the programme’s soundtrack. The original audio and the subtitles attached to an item are separate choices. This matters when a household is looking for a particular language edition rather than simply a page it can read.
Preserve the title used in the broadcaster’s listing. If a translated label is added for convenience, retain the original alongside it. For a text-track concern, note the selected option, programme and playback surface; menu translation alone cannot diagnose the missing subtitle.
A precise archive enquiry
Provide LTV1 or LTV7, the programme title, its broadcast date and the exact result selected in REplay. State whether it is absent from search, visible without a playable full video, restricted for the location or failing after playback starts. Those observations require different next steps.
For an international event, retain the original date and schedule zone before comparing a local listing. Latvia’s country identity does not make every Latvian-language programme a locally authorized worldwide feed. The actual broadcaster and account conditions remain the relevant source for access.
Questions answered
Does an old guide listing prove the programme is still in the archive?
No. REplay says archive publication and duration depend on rights agreements.
Can LTV1 and LTV7 be merged into one feed label?
No. Keep the number with the channel name.
Does a Russian-language interface guarantee Russian programme audio?
No. Interface language and programme tracks are separate.
