TVM needs its Mozambique context
Televisão de Moçambique’s current online site lists TVM and TVM Internacional. Retain the country or the broadcaster’s full name when using the initials TVM: the same letters can appear in television identities elsewhere. A familiar three-letter badge without its context is an unreliable way to identify a programme.
Keep Internacional in the name if that is the service on the programme announcement or provider list. A domestic service and an international service can have different schedules or programme selections. The broadcaster’s international role connects audiences abroad with Mozambique, but it does not mean the two feeds are interchangeable at every hour.
A channel number belongs to its distribution platform
TVM’s official distribution information separates terrestrial, satellite, subscription-platform and online routes. Its tables give different positions for different platforms. A number that locates TVM in one operator’s guide is therefore not a universal number to enter into another television service.
Older pages and newer online information can also show different positions. Check the provider’s current guide and package for your country before relying on a saved number. Use the channel name as the stable enquiry and treat the guide position as a detail of that particular receiving arrangement.
Internacional programmes and repeats need a dated listing
The TVM Internacional programme page identifies named productions and labels some entries as repeats. A repeat marker is useful when deciding whether you are watching the first transmission, a scheduled replay or a separate on-demand recording. It does not establish that every earlier edition remains in a permanent archive.
For a programme such as a discussion, economic magazine or documentary, retain its exact Portuguese title and edition date. A news report about the subject may be much shorter than the full production. Inspect the programme description and running time before saving it as the complete item.
Use the online route for the selected feed
The current TVM online site provides the broadcaster’s own starting point for its television identities and digital material. An older satellite-parameter article describes a receiving setup, not a web-player password. Follow the current route for the device you actually intend to use.
If asking another provider about Mozambique television, specify TVM or TVM Internacional and give one programme example. State whether a live feed or a recording is required and identify your viewing location. For a calendar appointment, use the date on the listing and Africa/Maputo as the originating location. A Portuguese website interface and a country flag do not establish every programme’s audio, subtitles or overseas availability.

Is a TVM channel number the same on every platform?
No. Guide positions belong to the particular distributor and package. Check the current platform list using the full channel name.
Does TVM automatically mean TVM Internacional?
The broadcaster lists them separately. Keep the complete service name from the programme or provider entry.
