Keep TVPerú, TVPerú Noticias and Canal IPE distinct
IRTP's official material names TVPerú, TVPerú Noticias, TVPerú Internacional and Canal IPE separately from Radio Nacional. These names identify different television services or a separate radio medium. A general IRTP label is useful publisher context, but it does not establish the channel, programme or format a household actually wants.
TVPerú's site also separates the general programme guide from the news-channel guide. Save the complete channel name when checking a bulletin or cultural programme. Where a local terrestrial number is shown, keep it as distribution information rather than assuming the same number appears in a web player, another country's receiver or an unrelated subscription guide.
Jiwasanaka identifies an Aymara news request
An IRTP announcement in April 2026 describes Jiwasanaka as a news programme serving Aymara communities and identifies editions on TVPerú and TVPerú Noticias, with digital publication as well. This gives a viewer a concrete language-specific programme name, rather than an assumption that every Peruvian bulletin has an Aymara audio option.
Preserve Jiwasanaka and the desired edition date when searching. The announcement distinguishes morning and afternoon editions, so a date alone may still leave two different broadcasts. Confirm which edition is needed before sharing a replay. A Spanish-language article about the same event is reporting on the subject, but it does not replace the Aymara presentation a viewer requested.
Canal IPE offers a separate children’s discovery route
IRTP announced a new Canal IPE portal in July 2026, aimed at children and adolescents and also useful to teachers. The announcement names programmes including Historiando, Polikids, Chaski el streamer and La calle baila, with programme descriptions and episode links. This is a practical route for finding a particular educational or children's production rather than browsing a general television news archive.
Distinguish the linear children's channel from a programme's episode page. A teacher preparing an activity may need a complete, repeatable episode with its title and topic; a family planning television time needs the dated channel schedule. A short clip or a blog article can complement an episode without providing the same material.
Match language, episode and dated schedule together
TVPerú Play lists cultural and entertainment programmes alongside named news productions. Retain original titles such as Jiwasanaka when building a household watch list, and attach the actual spoken-language need rather than inferring it from a Spanish interface. For children's material, keep the programme and episode or season when that information is published.
Use America/Lima when converting a schedule explicitly expressed in Peruvian local time. Keep the original broadcast date separate from an archive's upload date, especially when choosing among repeated children's episodes or multiple bulletin editions. These official references establish IRTP's services and published productions; they do not verify IPTV Europe carriage, selectable language tracks or availability of every title from abroad.
Questions answered
Which programme is identified with Aymara news?
IRTP identifies Jiwasanaka with Aymara communities. Include its broadcast date and the intended morning or afternoon edition.
Is Canal IPE simply the TVPerú news channel?
No. IRTP describes Canal IPE as its children’s and adolescent television service, with a separate programme portal.
What should a teacher save for an IPE programme?
Keep the original programme title, the complete episode link and its subject or episode information; a promotional clip may not contain the full lesson material.
