Identify the TVP service before the genre
TVP1, TVP2, TVP Info, TVP Sport and regional TVP3 entries are distinct television identities. A general Polish group can be too broad when a viewer wants a local bulletin or a particular event. Keep the number, subject service or region in the channel label.
The broadcaster’s published platform information includes multiple regional TVP3 services. A TVP3 mark without the intended region does not identify which local programme should appear. Shared national material can make two regional routes look similar until their local windows diverge.
TVP VOD also presents live television
TVP’s official information describes live channels within TVP VOD as well as films, series and programme catalogues. The VOD name should therefore not be used to infer that an entry always starts independently from the beginning. Inspect whether the selected result is a live service or a programme item.
A sports event can also have a dedicated official entry or a TVP Sport route. A live match, highlights and a studio discussion should retain their different labels. An old platform announcement can establish a launch context without proving today’s complete catalogue, price or technical support.
Keep the title and version exact
A Polish-dubbed programme, an original soundtrack with Polish text and a voice-over presentation are different viewing experiences. A Polish interface does not settle which is supplied. Use the actual title page and player choices for the programme rather than assuming all imported works use one format.
For a series, preserve season and episode. For news, use the bulletin date and regional edition. A reconstructed film, a trailer and a complete feature can be separate results; the poster or familiar title alone does not tell you which resource was selected.
A report that distinguishes regional and playback problems
If TVP3 shows the wrong region, record the intended local service, actual programme and time. If a TVP VOD item is visible but does not play, retain the item’s title, format and visible message. If only an audio or subtitle choice is missing, describe that narrower result.
Those details help keep programme identity, player capability and account access apart. Official TVP links are useful references for the broadcaster’s own services; their presence in a country guide is not a statement that an IPTV Europe plan includes the entire TVP catalogue.
