Dabanga identifies a specific Sudanese publisher
Dabanga describes itself as an independent Sudanese news and information broadcaster and publisher. Keep that identity when searching rather than treating every Sudanese news result as the same national television service. Its own navigation separates news, programme material and radio or television routes, which answer different viewing and listening requests.
A story about Khartoum, Darfur or another place establishes geographic subject matter, not the original channel or a live regional feed. Retain the publisher, production or edition and date before sharing a result. A broadcaster's name and a country flag cannot establish whether an item is a written account, a radio recording or television pictures.
Morning and evening radio editions need their own dates
Dabanga's broadcasts archive distinguishes Morning Program and Evening Program entries with dates. These are useful listening references, but a radio edition should not be shared as a complete television bulletin merely because the publisher also has a TV service. The original edition date matters when several recordings discuss a developing issue.
Keep morning or evening and the exact date together. An article summarising one interview can help identify its subject while omitting the complete programme. Where an archive entry's publication field and title refer to different dates, inspect the original item before deciding which edition it represents; a short preview is not enough to resolve the difference.
TV live, radio listening and a news article are separate routes
The publisher provides a dedicated Dabanga TV live page alongside its radio-broadcast archive. A live television bookmark does not identify which older radio edition or written report a viewer wants. Likewise, a working radio recording cannot establish that television pictures or a full video programme are available through the same selection.
State whether the requirement is to watch, listen or read, then preserve the actual programme or subject. An English-language news page is useful for reading but does not establish English audio, translation or subtitles on a programme. The video or audio edition needs its own language and format check, especially when shared with family who expect a particular spoken presentation.
UTC and Sudan time are different schedule fields
Dabanga's published broadcasting table explicitly separates UTC from Sudan time and gives effective dates for technical information. Keep the column and date when using an announcement. An old radio timetable or satellite-parameter table should not become an undated guarantee of today's reception, programme hours or access through a different television provider.
Use Africa/Khartoum when converting an appointment explicitly stated in Sudanese local time, retaining the full calendar date for an overseas viewer. For an archive, preserve the original edition separately from the upload date. These primary publisher references explain Sudanese news formats and routes; they do not verify IPTV Europe carriage, a complete replay catalogue or international distribution rights to every item.
Questions answered
Is a Dabanga morning programme automatically television?
No. The publisher’s broadcasts archive identifies radio editions. Confirm the medium before selecting the item.
Can I use the UTC column as though it were Sudan local time?
No. Preserve the table’s stated time basis and effective date, then convert the dated appointment if needed.
Does an English article confirm English programme audio?
No. Reading language, spoken audio and subtitles are separate details that need an edition-level check.
