A Marathon and the television Simulcast do different jobs
Adult Swim’s official FAQ distinguishes its free Marathons and unkeyed episodes from provider-authenticated programming. Simulcast follows the programming airing on television and requires a qualifying paid TV-provider package. A continuous stream on the website is therefore not necessarily the same programme running on the television channel.
Decide whether you want a particular episode, a themed run or the current channel schedule. For a specific story, retain the series, season and episode identity. For shared live viewing, verify that both viewers selected the same viewing mode before interpreting different pictures as a delay.
Read the key before signing in
The FAQ identifies a key icon as the access marker for locked content. Once authentication succeeds, a checkmark replaces it. Episodes without the key and the Marathons do not require that provider login under the documented arrangement.
Use one item to check the transition. Note whether the key changes, then start that selected programme. A successful provider login is useful evidence about access; the programme playing is the separate result you actually need. Keep credentials in the official provider process.
Keep a free option separate from an unresolved entitlement
If a locked item remains unavailable, an unkeyed episode can still be a legitimate available viewing choice. Its success does not prove that the paid item should unlock, and its absence does not identify a broken television subscription. Each item has its own access state.
The FAQ includes device-specific sign-in instructions and older Xfinity package discussion. Match any procedure to the actual device and current package rather than treating those examples as a universal fix. For a useful report, identify the selected mode, series or stream, displayed icon and point where the route stopped.
