Start with the current German ARTHAUS+ offer
The German publisher describes ARTHAUS+ as a curated selection of films, selected series and documentaries, offered through Prime Video Channels and Apple TV Channels. Choose the host you intend to use, then verify the selected programme there. The presence of both host names does not establish a shared login or a membership that transfers between them.
A publisher film page can cover more than one product. Before using its specifications to plan a stream, identify whether you are reading a general work record, a disc edition or the viewing offer on your chosen channel. That distinction matters particularly when the title carries a named film cut.
The Apocalypse Now record is not a single stream specification
The ARTHAUS+ selection links Apocalypse Now - Final Cut. The publisher’s associated film record lists several approximate running times: 183, 196 and 147 minutes. It also has separate DVD and Blu-ray entries with their own sound, subtitle and extra-feature information.
Those different specifications are a reason to inspect the host’s actual film, not to assume every listed version is selectable in the channel. Retain “Final Cut” with the title, compare the displayed running time and read the stream’s own language information. A disc’s extras list does not establish bonus programmes or commentary tracks in the subscription.
For a film-study session, keep a compact record: host, displayed title and cut, running time, chosen audio and subtitle track. If your purpose is to compare cuts, leave that plan open until each required version has its own identified offer. Do not construct a comparison from a general product page that combines several editions.
An editorial recommendation may be a series
The publisher’s 1 September 2026 ARTHAUS+ article calls The Company a three-part series. Its appearance alongside film recommendations therefore does not make it a one-film commitment. Use the current host’s episode selection and durations when deciding whether to start it.
Keep a dated recommendation as a discovery lead. Confirm the current item rather than treating a September article as a permanent inclusion guarantee. For a short evening, choose an actual episode or film whose displayed duration fits; for a longer plan, retain the specific parts you intend to finish.
Place older MOVIECULT names in their own context
The publisher’s 26 January 2023 article uses both MOVIECULT and the longer Studiocanal presents MOVIECULT name for a German Amazon channel. That establishes the short and full names used in that dated article. It does not establish that MOVIECULT became ARTHAUS+ or that an old subscription now unlocks the current ARTHAUS+ offer.
An older recommendation should keep its precise channel name and film until the current host offer is identified. The UK STUDIOCANAL PRESENTS guide concerns another reviewed market presentation; a shared studio name does not make its catalogue or account the destination for a German membership.
Questions answered
Do the audio, extras and runtimes on an ARTHAUS disc page specify the channel stream?
No. That page can describe several products. Check the actual host film’s title, cut, duration and available tracks.
Does the 2023 MOVIECULT article prove that its subscription became ARTHAUS+?
No. It establishes historical MOVIECULT naming, not a current rename or transferable entitlement.
