Use the Canadian viewing offer
CBC Gem’s developer listing describes a Canadian streaming destination and states that its content is available within Canada. A programme page or app description visible elsewhere does not establish a general European subscription offer.
For a particular title, use the actual programme, season and selected route. CBC-related content can appear through other broadcasters or distributors without making their account the same as CBC Gem.
A free account has personal viewing functions
The official app information describes a free CBC account with functions such as continuing a programme across devices and finding the local live channel. Those benefits are distinct from purchasing Premium.
If progress differs on another screen, compare the account and actual episode before resetting the app. A saved programme reference is not a permanent independent recording, and a completed registration does not by itself identify every paid feature.
Use publisher information rather than an old price
Older CBC announcements and current listings can describe different commercial periods. Use the actual current offer for pricing, tax and trial conditions rather than copying a historic launch amount. This guide does not assign another provider’s subscription totals to CBC Gem.
For help, identify free or Premium access, the chosen programme or live channel, the device and actual result. Keep payment and account details private. These distinctions separate a Canadian product, a personal function and a specific paid benefit.
Questions answered
Is CBC News Explore the same named product as CBC News Network?
No. Keep the actual channel identity with the account and viewing question.
