Recover the account before buying the film again
Cineplex Store became CosmoGO. Its migration notice says accounts that had made transactions transferred, along with eligible purchases and active rentals. Passwords and stored payment methods did not transfer. A rejected old password therefore does not, by itself, show that a purchased film is missing.
Begin with the email used for the Cineplex Store transaction. If several household addresses exist, compare them with an old confirmation before registering a replacement account. A new empty account and a transferred account are different places to look for the same film.
Use the documented reset and library route
On cosmogo.com, choose LOGIN at the top right. On the login screen use the HERE password-reset link, then enter the original Cineplex Store email. CosmoGO says this reset is needed once. After signing in, open My Library to inspect the transferred eligible media.
Compare a specific purchase rather than the total number of posters you remember. Keep its title and original transaction date beside the library result. If the wrong address was used, resolve that account question before treating the absence as a lost entitlement.
Separate expiry from a transfer problem
The notice explicitly excludes expired rentals. An old rental confirmation is not evidence of a currently playable purchase, even if it uses the same film artwork. For a missing item, determine whether the receipt says purchase or rental and whether that rental was active at migration.
For example, two confirmations for the same film might describe an earlier rental and a later purchase. Identify the purchase record when asking CosmoGO to examine the library. That gives support a specific transaction to compare without suggesting that an expired rental should be restored.
