Use the exact current plan name
Crave’s current plan help distinguishes Standard With Ads, formerly Basic, from Premium. An older plan name on a comparison page can describe a different product stage. Begin with the account’s actual current product rather than assuming all Crave plans provide the same experience.
The published comparison separates advertising, video quality, live channels and offline viewing. A programme being present in the catalogue does not establish that every one of those benefits is included under the chosen plan.
Registered devices are not simultaneous streams
The provider distinguishes playback-device registration from the number of streams in use at once. A device added to an account is not the same thing as an actively playing session. Keep that distinction before removing equipment in response to a viewing-limit message.
A subscription obtained through a TV provider can also have its own concurrent-viewing context. Name the actual plan and purchasing route when comparing the allowance, rather than relying on a generic account total.
Downloaded-video devices form another category
The download help describes a separate device allowance and replacement period for Premium downloads. That is not a universal limit on all devices capable of signing in. A download-device message should therefore be read differently from a simultaneous-playback message.
Before deleting an offline item or clearing app data, identify which category has reached its limit. Keep the intended journey and the actual downloaded episode in view. A working stream on another television does not test that offline state.
Match the hardware and the product
Crave’s compatibility page names supported operating systems and models. Its Fire TV section specifically lists Fire OS generations, rather than making a blanket claim about every current Fire TV platform. Use the exact model and software information.
For support, include the plan, purchasing route, kind of device limit and actual error. Keep private account details out of public images. This avoids confusing a plan feature, a download allowance and device compatibility.
Questions answered
Does a registered device count automatically equal the simultaneous-stream allowance?
No. Crave treats registration, concurrent playback and download devices separately.
Should an old Basic plan label be used as a universal current description?
No. The current help distinguishes Standard With Ads, formerly Basic, and Premium.
