The old sports description can be out of date
discovery+’s current support banner says TNT Sports is no longer available there and directs viewers to HBO Max. An older UK guide presenting discovery+ as the current TNT Sports destination should therefore not be used unchanged.
This is a service-location distinction, not a promise that an existing account in every market has automatically acquired a replacement product. Use the official transition and account information for the actual subscription before paying or attempting a new sign-in.
A programme brand is not a complete account offer
discovery+ can be discussed through programmes, entertainment categories and different national products. A particular television brand or documentary found elsewhere does not establish access to the complete platform.
For a title question, keep the season and episode with the current local collection. For a sports question, use the current event and the destination named in the latest help rather than a historical logo arrangement.
Travel guidance has a home-market scope
The retrieved North American help describes US and Canadian subscriptions and their regional travel context. It then distinguishes subscriptions in other countries. That is not a single rule for every discovery+ account worldwide.
Keep the account market and destination with a travel query. A person holding a European product should use that local offer’s conditions, rather than treating a Canadian help paragraph as proof of their own rights or programme collection.
Separate transition, billing and technical playback
An old sports destination, a missing account benefit and a video that fails after starting need different answers. Identify the product, country and actual screen before changing device settings. A new app’s installation is not itself a complete subscription migration.
Use genuine official account links and keep verification information private. For technical support, include the selected programme, device and error. This keeps changing service arrangements clear without implying that every entertainment subscription includes every sport or region.
