The plan name is not the separate library platform
filmingo uses subscription names including Filmfriend, Filmfan and Filmlover. The Filmfriend plan label here should not be confused with the separate filmfriend service reached through participating libraries. The spelling similarity does not merge their account systems.
If an instruction asks for a library card while your actual purchase is a filmingo plan, identify which service the instruction describes. Keep the website, product and seller with the account before entering credentials or paying again.
Read the monthly film allowance
filmingo’s subscription choices include different monthly allowances and an unlimited option. The selected plan determines the allowance attached to that account. An unlimited description for one product should not be applied to another plan merely because both use the same app.
Compare the allowance with your actual viewing pattern. Choosing a small number of specific films is different from expecting unrestricted catalogue browsing. The film’s current availability and the plan’s selection allowance remain separate questions.
Allowance renewal is not a rental deadline
The help says unused monthly allowance does not carry forward. A month’s unused selection therefore should not be treated as an accumulating collection of owned films. The period attached to a selected rental is another clock.
If you intend to watch later, consider whether you are saving a title as a possible choice or using the current allowance to rent it. Retain the actual rental’s displayed period rather than assuming that the next monthly allowance reset will extend it.
Location helps define the available films
filmingo identifies subscriptions in Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria and Germany, with film availability varying by location. A shared service name does not establish an identical collection across those markets.
For a missing title or allowance question, include the account’s plan, relevant country and exact film. For video failure, include the device and visible error. Keep a monthly selection limit, a rental expiry and a playback problem distinct so that one is not mistaken for another.
