The same name appears on different products
Telkomsel uses MAXstream for its video application and for a designated mobile-data quota. The application’s feature help describes television channels, programmes and package activation. The quota help describes which data allowance is consumed when accessing supported video services. Those descriptions concern different parts of the viewing chain.
Check what the purchase or account screen actually names. A remaining data balance tells you about network traffic; it does not, on its own, document the entitlement for a paid programme inside another service. Keep the video product and the network allowance as separate account observations.
Quota exhaustion changes which allowance is used
Telkomsel’s quota conditions say that after the MAXstream quota is exhausted or expires, access can use regular internet quota or the applicable base internet tariff. A video still playing is therefore not proof that the designated quota remains available.
Before a longer session, inspect the allowance’s expiry as well as its remaining amount. If a balance changes unexpectedly, record the service used and the time of the session. That gives the mobile provider a more specific question than a general report that the film stopped or data disappeared.
Read the published traffic condition before changing the app
The same conditions say the MAXstream quota cannot be used while a VPN or Data Saver function is active. This is a published data-accounting condition, not advice to bypass any content or regional restriction. A quota question should be investigated within the provider’s applicable rules.
The application feature table contains older partner names, so it is not used here as a current partner catalogue or device promise. Inspect the present programme offer separately. Distinguish a paid-content prompt, a video playback error and an unexpected mobile-data deduction before deciding which support route can answer it.
Questions answered
Does a MAXstream quota balance prove a partner subscription is active?
No. The quota describes mobile traffic; the selected video service’s product establishes its content access.
What happens when the designated quota runs out?
Telkomsel says usage can fall back to regular internet quota or the applicable base tariff after exhaustion or expiry.
