Check the country and actual anime edition first
RetroCrush focuses on classic anime movies and television series. Its help centre currently lists availability in the United States and Canada, while warning that some United States content may not be available in Canada. A title shown in a general promotion is therefore not sufficient evidence that the Canadian catalogue includes it.
Open the film or series in your own permitted location and inspect the actual season, episode and available language presentation. Classic anime can have different editions and distributor packages. Confirm the programme you intend to watch before choosing a subscription solely on the strength of a familiar title or cover image.
Confirm the application on your intended screen
RetroCrush’s device help names browsers, selected Android and iOS mobile or tablet devices, Roku and Samsung Smart TVs among its viewing routes. The word selected matters: the presence of a broad platform name does not confirm support for every old operating system, television generation or regional application store.
Check the official listing on the exact device you will use. Try an available free programme to assess basic navigation, sound and playback before making a subscription decision around that screen. A successful test is useful evidence about that particular setup, without establishing that every Premium title has the same entitlement or presentation.
Check captions before settling on a programme
RetroCrush’s caption help explicitly says that closed captions are not available for all content. Do not confuse that question with whether an anime has translated dialogue subtitles or a dubbed soundtrack. Open the actual player and inspect the controls for the programme and episode you need.
If an expected track is absent, record the title, episode, country and device when contacting support. Explain whether you need dialogue translation, closed captions or a different spoken-language version. That makes a missing accessibility track distinguishable from a different licensed edition and avoids assuming that a Premium upgrade will supply it.
