Plan names are part of the current offer
RTL+ has several product choices, including a Basic product named in its current terms. Use the exact product displayed in the account instead of relying on a remembered plan name from an older comparison page.
A brand-wide statement about RTL+ cannot establish that every product has the same catalogue, advertising or playback features. Read the current offer for the particular account before comparing a price or diagnosing an upgrade prompt.
Available content and playback quality differ
Being able to open a title and receiving a particular resolution or device function are separate benefits. The product and the supported playback route determine what is offered. A title thumbnail is not a measurement of the quality being delivered.
When a quality question arises, keep the actual programme, plan, device and output context together. Do not turn a higher-resolution display into evidence that the account necessarily includes that source or playback benefit.
An advertisement needs its viewing context
Compare advertising under the current product’s own description. Record whether the selection is live or on demand and whether the item carries a particular access label. A broad expectation that every payment removes every interruption can lead to the wrong diagnosis.
If an account benefit seems missing, confirm the product and sign-in first. If the intended item is recognised but fails during playback, collect the non-sensitive error and device information separately. Account recognition and video decoding are different results.
Use the account as the product reference
Keep the actual offer confirmation and product name when considering an account change. An old marketing screenshot is not the current state of a private subscription, and another household’s account is not a complete comparison unless the same product and route are being used.
For support, state the precise programme and action. Use the official account route for billing and private information. This preserves a useful distinction between catalogue questions, plan features and a technical fault on the chosen screen.
