Choose the channel or the edition

RTVM launched TLMad in May 2026 for Telemadrid, LaOtra and Onda Madrid programmes; current developer branding uses TLMad+. The offer combines live output and on-demand material. Onda Madrid is the radio destination, so a familiar programme name does not always identify a television video.

For what is airing now, use the named live destination. For yesterday’s news or a particular programme, identify its date and edition in the on-demand selection. A generic programme heading is not enough when several editions share the same title.

Retention differed by programme class at launch

The publisher’s launch statement described eighteen months of entertainment, six months of daily current-affairs programmes and three months of Telenoticias. Those are the published launch scopes, rather than a promise that every item remains available for that duration today.

This gives a practical search order for an older item: keep its original date, identify whether it was news, a daily current-affairs programme or entertainment, then inspect the current selection. Do not diagnose a missing older newscast as a failed password merely because an entertainment programme from the same period is present.

Use registration for continuity

RTVM’s announcement describes registered-user benefits including continuing on another device, favourites, lists, new-episode notices and selected download use. A free viewing platform can therefore still have an account-based continuity layer.

Before changing screens midway through an edition, use the same intended account and retain the programme date. A favourites list can help you return to the programme, while an episode notice can help you find its next edition. Neither is evidence that an older item’s availability has been extended.

An event notice has its own date

The launch material also described a specific 2026 event window. Treat such statements as event-specific history; they are not a standing replay promise for every future sports or cultural broadcast.

When planning a later session, check the item actually offered by TLMad+. Keep that work’s date with its viewing mode. This is more reliable than assuming every live programme becomes a permanent entry in the regional archive.
