totIB3: find the right dated television or radio bulletin

Use totIB3’s media filters, programme names and broadcast dates to identify the intended Balearic news edition.

A logo is identity evidence

Choose the media type before the programme

The totIB3 site provides Televisió and Ràdio navigation and separate TV/RÀDIO search choices. Begin with the medium you actually heard or saw. IB3’s wider programme pages can place related radio and television work close together, so a familiar programme name is not enough to establish the intended recording.

Write a short identification note with medium, programme, broadcast date and the part you want to revisit. This is especially useful for local news, where a midday bulletin, an evening bulletin and a weekend edition can cover overlapping subjects while remaining different programmes.

Use the actual bulletin label

The checked catalogue distinguishes IB3 Notícies Migdia, IB3 Notícies Vespre and IB3 Notícies Cap de Setmana. Open the appropriate programme and inspect the episode’s displayed date, rather than choosing a similar headline or a short news clip elsewhere on the site.

A headline page, a complete bulletin and an En Directe stream are different objects. If you want the beginning of a past bulletin, look for the dated replay. Opening the current live stream does not establish that the earlier edition will begin again.

Do not identify a replay by its counter alone

In the 4 November 2026 catalogue snapshot, the 3 November Migdia and Vespre items both carried episode number 5522. These two listings show that the counter alone did not identify a unique item across the entire platform. Pair the counter with the programme and date.

For an original retrieval example, a note saying Vespre, television, 3 November 2026 is more useful than episode 5522 alone. Compare the selected item’s title, date and displayed duration before sending the link to someone else. This is a reading of catalogue metadata, not a report that either bulletin was played.

Keep a precise reference for later

Save the actual episode link after identifying it, along with its programme and date. If you found it from IB3’s television page, follow the publisher’s totIB3 link and verify the destination item. A menu or search-result bookmark may lead somewhere different after the latest programmes change.

If the replay is missing or restricted, retain the precise item and visible message. The presence of other episodes does not establish permanent retention or worldwide rights for every programme. No account or live/replay stream was tested; the guide completes the identification task with the site’s real labels and date fields.

Questions answered

Is an episode number unique across all totIB3 programmes?

The checked snapshot reused 5522 for different bulletin series. Include programme, medium and date.

Should I use En Directe to start yesterday’s bulletin?

Use the dated replay if it is offered. The live stream and a past episode are separate viewing objects.
