The control belongs to the receiving phone
Apple documents turning off keyboard notifications under the iPhone or iPad’s Notifications, Apple TV Keyboard, Allow Notifications. This changes that mobile device’s invitations; it is a different action from changing the television’s player account.
Choose the phone or tablet that should stop receiving prompts. In a shared household, another person may still want the keyboard feature on their own device.
Check the narrow result
Change the notification preference on the intended device, then open an ordinary Apple TV text field. Observe whether the invitation appears there as expected for the chosen setting. Keep the physical remote available for input.
A prompt disappearing does not mean the Apple TV lost its network or that a viewing app was uninstalled. It reflects the specific notification choice being tested.
Restore when the feature becomes useful
Use the same mobile notification setting if the user later wants invitations again, subject to Apple’s normal keyboard prerequisites. There is no reason to reset the TV merely to revise a phone preference.
This is a small device-notification change grounded in Apple’s guide. It does not claim to disable every Apple TV remote feature or every kind of notification across the household.
