Choose the kind of small or multiple window you mean
OTT Navigator distinguishes Studio mode, its in-player Picture-in-picture and Android’s system small-window behavior when leaving the app. Begin by naming the desired action. Showing two channels simultaneously is different from keeping one channel visible while returning to the launcher.
Use one known working channel as the baseline and record the actual device and app version. Do not start several streams simply to discover which mode is available. The source’s allowed connections and the hardware’s ability to decode several videos remain relevant even when the interface offers a feature.
Inspect entitlement and module visibility
The developer’s Studio/PiP page lists active Premium, enabled modules and a suitable user-experience mode among the visibility conditions. It gives the Enabled modules route within Extended settings and Main screen. Check those conditions on the installed build before reinstalling the application.
If the menu item remains absent, inspect whether it was hidden in the player menu. Keep the current layout recorded before customizing it. A hidden button and an unavailable source capability are different causes; making a button visible does not grant a new subscription allowance.
Use the actual source allowance
OTT Navigator counts provider connections and can read a reported limit or use a configured value. If an administrator must enter Maximum allowed connections, use the plan’s real allowance. Raising a number in the app does not purchase extra access and can lead to a refused stream.
For a clearly hypothetical example, a source that permits one stream cannot be treated as a two-stream plan because two windows fit on the television. Another authorized source may have a separate allowance. Keep each source’s actual policy and the streams already in use, including recording activity, in the comparison.
Test two known items before a larger layout
After prerequisites are established, open a modest two-item layout within the permitted allowance. Check picture, selected audio and the ability to return to the intended main channel. A working two-window result does not certify the device’s advertised maximum number of simultaneous decoders.
Retain the layout and connection count that were actually observed. If the goal was system PiP, test leaving the application separately using its documented system setting. The expected outcome is a visible supported feature with an understood stream budget, not a promise of unlimited multiview or a tested IPTV Europe connection policy.

Does setting Maximum allowed connections buy more streams?
No. Use the actual source plan. The application setting cannot enlarge an allowance controlled by the provider.
Is Studio mode the same as Android system PiP?
No. Identify whether you want several channels within the app or one channel in a system window after leaving it.
