The label follows a documented procedure
Samsung’s Smart Calibration guide says the resulting picture mode becomes Movie (Calibrated). Seeing that label can therefore reflect a completed calibration choice, not a new film format or a service-supplied picture mode.
Check whether someone intentionally ran the supported calibration before changing it. A household picture preference should not be erased merely because the mode name is unfamiliar.
Use a meaningful before-and-after decision
Compare familiar material under stable room lighting and note the current mode. If you intend to return picture settings to their original state, Samsung’s guide documents Reset Picture through its expert picture controls.
Read the on-screen scope before confirming. A picture reset is different from resetting the entire television, removing apps or changing accounts.
Do not turn the label into a measurement claim
A mode named Calibrated does not establish that a programme is native 4K, HDR or reference-accurate in every room. Those are separate source and measurement questions.
This page reports Samsung’s documented state and reset route. It does not claim that any TV has been calibrated here or that one household preference is universally correct.
Questions answered
Does Movie (Calibrated) identify the source video format?
No. Samsung describes it as a resulting picture mode after calibration.
Is Reset Picture the same as factory-resetting the TV?
They have different scopes. Read and use the intended picture action.
