Check the local station rather than only the network badge
Fubo’s current local-channel help provides a station lookup and conditions access on the plan and market. Its travel article says local programming can change with the location from which the viewer streams. A network logo on a national comparison page is not a guarantee of the same affiliate in every city.
For a particular game or local programme, identify the station call sign and actual viewing location. A regional sports service and a local broadcast affiliate are different channels. Retain those details when checking the current channel list rather than assuming a general sports-focused subscription includes every local event.
Lookback is not the same as a saved recording
Fubo describes Lookback as a limited on-demand window after a programme’s original airing. Cloud DVR is a separate recording function, with its own supported programmes and retention conditions. A previously aired event visible in search is therefore not proof that you already recorded it.
If a record control is absent, the DVR help says that programme or channel may not allow recording. Inspect the selected event and mode before planning delayed viewing. A Watchlist entry can organise discovery without becoming a personal copy, and a recording’s storage allowance does not expand the rights of a different replay version.
Fubo Free has an eligibility and device context
The August 2026 Free help describes an experience for selected former subscribers after an eligible paid subscription or trial expires, on selected devices. It should not be presented as a universally available replacement for every paid plan. Its free lineup also excludes the paid local and regional sports offering.
The same help distinguishes free DVR support on connected-TV surfaces from unsupported web/mobile DVR controls in that experience. It says previous paid recordings are not retained after the paid subscription expires. Check the actual account offer and saved programmes before cancelling solely on an assumption that every recording will remain available free.
A Hulu offer on Fubo’s site needs its own product identity
Fubo’s May 2026 signup help describes an option to choose Hulu + Live TV from the Fubo website and directs Hulu signup questions to Hulu support. The presence of that offer is not a reason to treat a Fubo plan and Hulu + Live TV as one interchangeable login or channel lineup.
Read the product selected during checkout and retain the provider confirmation. For help, distinguish a Fubo market/feed question, a Free-experience limitation, a DVR issue and a separately chosen Hulu product. That precision is more useful than following one service’s account instructions merely because the other service’s website displayed the offer.
Questions answered
Will travelling always preserve the same Fubo local affiliate?
No. Fubo says local channels can depend on the location from which you stream.
Are my old paid recordings preserved automatically in Fubo Free?
The current Free help says paid recordings are deleted after the paid subscription expires; inspect the account before relying on them.
