Profiles organise people, not hardware
Neon’s profile help describes adult and kids profiles and explains that some default profiles have different deletion options. Profiles organise viewing within the account; they do not themselves identify how many pieces of equipment are registered or how many programmes may run at the same time.
Use the intended profile before investigating an unexpected list of recommendations or viewing progress. Deleting a profile is not the same operation as removing a registered device. Where a default kids profile needs changing, follow Neon’s actual profile controls rather than assuming that a missing trash icon is an app fault.
The device list has its own consequences
Neon’s device-management help describes a password-confirmed account page where the viewer can inspect registered equipment and remove a device. It explicitly warns that removing the device from the account does not erase downloads already stored on that equipment; those downloads need to be removed there.
This distinction matters when handing a phone to someone else or retiring a tablet. An account-list change and a local-storage cleanup are two separate actions. Inspect the current removal allowance before repeatedly rotating devices, because the help applies a limit to removals rather than promising unlimited changes.
An included title and a rental are different transactions
Neon’s help centre separates Movie Rentals from the subscription catalogue. It even provides guidance for cases where a title included with the subscription also appears as a rental. Read the actual product label and the offered playback version before accepting a charge.
A rental-purchase screen being unavailable in a particular Apple application is also a distinct question from whether the account can stream subscription content. Use the publisher’s current instructions for the surface involved. Do not assume an app installation has purchased a film or that every item in search is included with the base membership.
Set download quality before relying on a copy
For eligible downloads, Neon describes an SD/HD preference in its Android and iOS app settings, while noting that some titles do not have an HD version. Choosing a preferred quality does not create a version that the service does not offer. Check the actual download after selecting the title and available option.
The download, caption and supported-device help are separate areas of Neon’s support. A useful report names the title, whether it was streamed or downloaded, the chosen device and the visible symptom. Neon’s published product scope concerns its own service, including New Zealand viewing conditions; no IPTV Europe account or catalogue inclusion follows from this guide.
Questions answered
Does removing a registered device erase its stored downloads?
Neon’s help says the account removal does not delete those local downloads; remove them on the device separately.
Does an HD download preference guarantee every title has HD?
No. Neon explicitly notes that some shows and films do not have that version available.
